Here is a sneak peak of a few of our designs that will be revealed later this month for 2011. Maples Wedding Cakes 2011 line will show more diversity from a design standpoint than ever before from Jay Qualls. You will see much more texture, sculpting, hand painted cakes, traditional stringwork, trendy colors, geometric applique work, as well as some interesting stencil examples with a fabric toile inspired cake and last but not least french fondant ruffles. These are just a few of our latest creations....check our blog frequently to see more of our new 2011 line! We hope you enjoy and are inspired you as a decorator and can find something that will inspire your own wedding cake.
Sincerely, Jay Qualls, President, Cake Designer

Here is a sneak peak of some of our newest designs to be revealed very soon.
This pearlized petal inspired cake with sugar pearls dragges in each petal captures the beautiful organic cascade down a steel gray pearlized fondant.
This beautiful sugar flower design was inspired by a beautiful silicone flower plunger with organic vines and textured leaves. This cake is a white on white cake with pealized shimmer and my signature triple beaded border.
This design was inspired by a dress that I saw when hiking through the streets of Manhattan. I saw this beautiful dress and thought "that must be a cake" and now it is a reality. You will be so impressed when you see how gorgeous this handpainted cake with black, white, and gray food color. It is one of my all time favorite designs in a while. Love, love, love!!!

Jay!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the handpainted cake!!! You never cease to amaze me! =o)

Very professional. For me cake is the center of a wedding. It was my favorite detail of the entire wedding! I would recommend wedding cakes orange county to anyone for their cake as well as their service.

When chocolate cake is done, it smells done. You can train your nose to pick up on that strong aroma of chocolate and cooked eggs.

I would love to be able to make cake likes this, unfortunately my roses and flowers look more like cabages and I have had lessons to be able to make them as good as this too.
